While many Paso Robles weddings take place out in the vineyards west of town, Derby Wine Estates offers something completely different.
The winery is located inside the historic Almond Growers Association building just a few minutes from the Paso Robles downtown square. The large brick structure once served as a processing facility for the region’s almond industry before being carefully restored and transformed into a modern urban winery.
The result is a venue that blends Paso Robles history with contemporary event space design.
High ceilings, exposed beams, and industrial architecture give the building a unique atmosphere compared to traditional vineyard venues. Instead of rolling hills and vine rows, the setting here is defined by the character of the building itself.
