A Winery with a Story Behind It
Tablas Creek Vineyard holds a unique place in the history of Paso Robles wine country.
The winery was established through a partnership between the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel in France and the Haas family of California. Their goal was to introduce Rhône grape varieties to the limestone-rich soils of Paso Robles’ Adelaida District.
Today the property is known not only for its wines but also for its role in shaping the region’s reputation as a world-class Rhône wine growing area.
When weddings take place at Tablas Creek, the event is surrounded by that sense of agricultural heritage. Vineyard blocks stretch across the rolling hills while the tasting room and winery buildings sit quietly among the vines.

The property sits several miles west of downtown Paso Robles along Adelaida Road, an area where vineyards and oak-covered hills dominate the landscape. Unlike some larger event venues, the environment here feels calm and spacious.
Ceremonies often take place outdoors with vineyard rows and distant hills forming the backdrop.
Once the ceremony concludes, cocktail hour typically begins near the tasting room patio or lawn areas. From there guests move gradually into the reception portion of the evening while the vineyard landscape slowly shifts into the warm colors of sunset.
Because the venue has a natural, understated character, the celebration tends to feel comfortable rather than overly formal.
